How
to Operate the Q2 Energy System
The Q2 Energy System is very simple to
use. Everything
that you require is supplied with your “Q2 Energy series 3”
kit. The Q2
Energy System array has been specifically designed to be used
in water. It is
vitally important that you read the booklet accompanying the
System very carefully before operating.
The following steps are what you need to
know to get started.
Connecting up the Array and Power
Supply 1.) Make sure that the power supply is
turned off and/or unplugged from the wall socket. If you can hear the
cooling fan running then the power supply is active.
2.) Follow the instructions on how to connect
the power supply to the array. (See diagram
below) 3.) Plug the array cable into the power
supply.
4.) Plug the power supply into the wall
socket but do not turn the switch on yet.
5.) Double check to see if all plugs are
firmly connected and in the right connections.
6.) Run the tub of water. Make sure you put
enough water in the tub to cover the top clear plastic plate
of your System.
This is the minimum depth required, however you may
fill the tub with more water if you prefer
The System works fine whether
the water is hot or cold 7.) Check that your power outlet is
turned off. Check
the location of the power supply. Make sure that it is
safe distance away from any water. The power supply comes
with 3 metres of cable for this purpose.
8.) Once the tub is ready, place only the
Q2 Energy System into the bath water.
9.) When you are ready turn on the power
supply and immerse the body mass into the water. Before you do this
make sure you finish reading this booklet and observe the
correct usage times.

Warning: Remember to leave the
power supply a safe distance away from the
water.
The LED Activity
Indicator makes it easy
The Q2 Water Energy
System is equipped with a Display that indicates the activity
or amount of power your System is using. This display is very
important as it indicates to you how the System is
operating.

Just as everything is
a little different in their biological makeup, so is the water
in which is used. It does not matter where you are drawing
your water from; it’s going to be different. You may also have
some kind of water conditioner where the water enters your
home.
For your System to
function best your water should have a certain electrical
conductivity. You do not need to be able to test this as the
activity meter is going to show you how your water is
performing.
There are some things you
need to know about the indicator.
The first green
indicator with the word power underneath it tells you that the
System is on.
All the rest of the
indicators tell you how much power the System is supplying to
the array in the water.
The more lights that
come on, the more power your System is using.
For your System to be
functioning correctly you don’t need all the lights
on.
If all the lights
come on it means your System is drawing maximum power and will
probably shut itself off. If this happens your water is too
conductive and you need to use the inline attenuator to reduce
the output to the array.

For best
performance your System should be indicating 2-6
lights
The Power Switch
The power switch has been installed on
the power supply to allow those countries that do not have
wall-mounted switches in their homes. Countries that use
similar power outlets to USA will find this extra feature an
added bonus when operating the Q2 Energy System.
The switch is located on the
opposite side to the LED bar display and closest to the mains
in section of the power supply. The power “on” is
depicted as an “I” and the power “off” is depicted as an
“O”. When the
power is on, a green area is clearly visible on the top of the
switch.
